Used bass guitar not played much. Old. Some light marks and a bump or two on body. Not abused. Stored in closet. Kept in case. Made from random parts hand-selected based on their individual characteristics. Body from early 1980s Fender Japanese Precision bass that looks like a two-piece body, Jazz Bass neck from a later model Squier with close to 80 hours of hand labor on frets and stain/nitrocellulose finish. About ten layers hand rubbed. Bone nut, Reverse wind tuners, some kind of a Fender-style bridge, Lindy Fralin original resistance pickup, about 10.5K ohm approximately 6 years old. Solid bone thumb rest handmade by a true expert in England named Pablovibe just for me, and I believe the pick guard is red tortoise shell from a Norwegian supplier of excellent pick guards. CTS pots, push back wire, ceramic disc 100mfd cap, knobs are high-quality from Japanese Westone from 1980s. Black nylon coated GHS strings produce an acoustic string-bass type of tone. It's just a Frankenstein of various parts put together to make a delightful player. Set up to play like butter. Never taken out of the house or gigged. Comes with straplocs and good hardshell case. Not a name-brand collectable, an odd list of parts sources for sure, but a player originally made just for me that will perform in all situations and look good doing it. It is a very good player and might save wear and tear on someone's expensive guitars by playing this one and leaving the high-price models at home. Serious inquiries, please.
